About

I specialise in helping individuals and organisations dedicated to bringing about lasting change. All of my clients share my belief that the better we understand ourselves and the context in which we operate, the better equipped we are to bring about change for ourselves and the communities we serve.

I work with leaders and their teams to clarify the new reality they want to promote and to identify and stretch the ‘muscles’ needed to do so. My clients inevitably work within complex systems, where the pathways to change are not clear cut. Our work together is focused on developing the skills and mindset necessary to work effectively with this complexity.

My academic background is in Psychology (BSc.), and Demography & Global Health programmes (MSc.) , I have spent the majority of my 20+ year professional life working in the field of social change, working with international not-for profit organisations, government agencies, and private sector consultancies, and have lived and worked in New Zealand and Ecuador, as well as in the UK.

I have worked both as salaried staff and as an independent consultant, each giving me different perspectives. Working in a wide range of roles, I have gained invaluable insights into the benefits of slowing down in order to speed up. And of investing the time to think, deeply, creatively, and without prejudice, to better to understand what we are trying to achieve, how we might get there, and what is working and not working with our current approach. I am a credentialed coach and facilitator, and a consultant in organisational learning.

I am a director at Copperfinch, and work as an Associate Coach for envisialearning.com

I am accredited to Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level with the International Coach Federation,
